Inspiration found in the rain

Born in the stars

A drink of champagne

Mere seconds of hope ignited

Glistening ice

Slips on my tongue

Then falls into the glass

I set on the table

‘Tidbits’

The taxicab took me away to an old hotel in the middle of a city. One I’d never heard about. It’s almost morning, I was ready to slip into cool, soft sheets. I hoped they could provide them. I’d been traveling for ages. Crawling out of the cab, I paid my fare. Then looked up at the large building. Afterward, I took a deep breath, sighed then sauntered into this new domain.~AKC~©4/24/17

Invisable

I am, imagined by someone.
Needed and unseen.
Left in the forest hidden.
A miracle, undetected.

Restricted

My heart is spilling out poetry profoundly
Over analyzing
Every evening
Twisting
Tempting fate
Rehashing
Yearning
For a solution to debates
Problems, troubles, conflicts
Pleading that others see beyond their own biblical perceptions
But
The more I see
I want to be
Agnostic again.

Rise Rise Above

“Live in the aspects of beauty

From each ray of light

Possess your soul with  luminosity

That casts its silhouette anew.”
